Our purpose for building a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom 1,027 square foot home right in downtown Boulder Creek in less than 30 days was to demonstrate that it's possible to do so.
We wanted the victims of the CZU Fire who lost their homes in the fire to have hope that it's possible for them to rebuild a better home, in half the time for half the cost of a traditional site built home.
The site is prepared with 40 tons of 3/4" compressed virgin base rock.
The home is transported from the Redman Homes factory in Lindsay to our site in two sections.
Teaching some of our grandchildren the family business.
Both sections are aligned and prepared to be "married" together.
A California approved engineered earthquake tie down foundation system is started and the two sections are married.
The deck is started, the foundation is completed and the exterior is skirted and painted.
The interior of the home is finished, the deck and the skirting are completed and painted. The home is "move in ready" condition.
In order to help conserve the cash reserves and savings of our customers, special institutional construction financing has been arranged with local lenders. 100% financing is available for CZU Fire applicants with sufficient equity in their properties.
BAM Homes has also established a CZU Fire Rebuilding Fund. This fund is intended to aid families who have lost their homes in the fire and where their fire insurance settlement is not enough to rebuild.
