The site is prepared with 40 tons of 3/4" compressed virgin base rock.
The home is transported from the Redman Homes factory in Lindsay to our site in two sections.
Both sections are aligned and prepared to be "married" together.
A California approved engineered earthquake tie down foundation system is started and the two sections are married.
The deck is started, the foundation is completed and the exterior is skirted and painted.
The interior of the home is finished, the deck and the skirting are completed and painted. The home is "move in ready" condition.
In downtown Boulder Creek, we placed one of our three bedroom, two bathroom, 1,027 square foot homes (see BAM #9). This home serves as both our offices and our model home.
We wanted to show that it's possible to rebuild in less than six months rather than having to wait two or three years to do so.
The photos on the page are of the construction of our home from the day it first arrived until the day it was finished one month later.
Special construction financing has been arranged with institutional lenders. 100% financing is available for applicants with sufficient equity in their properties.
BAM Homes has established the CZU Fire Rebuilding Fund. This fund is avaliable to aid families who have lost their homes in the fire where their insurance settlement is insufficent to rebuild.
